About the Company
PPV – Plast & Plåt Vägmärken AB is a Swedish sign factory with extensive experience in developing, manufacturing, and selling road signs, signs, and accessories. Since our founding in 1966, we have had our own production in Kållered, just outside Gothenburg, where we produce both standard products and custom solutions in plastic and sheet metal.
Our products are used in traffic environments, safety, wayfinding, and commercial exposure. We deliver to municipalities, contractors, businesses, organizations, and private individuals across Sweden. Through our own production, large inventory, and high level of service, we offer quality, flexibility, and fast deliveries.
At PPV, you become part of an experienced and engaged company where quality, responsibility, and practical solutions characterize daily life. Here you are offered a workplace with short decision-making paths, close collaboration, and a clear ambition to continue developing both the business and our employees.
Your Responsibilities
As a sign manufacturer/text applicator at PPV, you will be an important part of the production team, working with the manufacturing and finishing of signs and custom solutions. The role involves practical work where attention to detail, quality, and a sense for details are crucial.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Text application, wrapping, and applying decals to sign materials, vehicles, and other objects
- Preparation and handling of materials prior to production
- Manufacturing, assembly, and finishing of signs and sign products
- Quality control and ensuring the final product meets high standards
- Post-processing, packing, and preparation for delivery
- Contributing to the development and improvement of working methods within production
To create a flexible and sustainable production, we work broadly within the operations. You will therefore have the opportunity to learn more parts of the production process over time and support other production areas if needed. The work is practical and can occasionally be physically demanding as heavier products are involved.
Working hours are during daytime:
Monday–Thursday 07:00–16:00 and Fridays 07:00–15:00.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, practical, and enjoys working with their hands. You have a technical interest and thrive in a production environment where quality and precision are important.
To succeed in this role, we would like you to:
- Have practical skills and enjoy working with details
- Be meticulous and quality-conscious in your work
- Be technically interested and quick to learn new tasks
- Enjoy working independently but also value being part of a team
- Take responsibility for your tasks and contribute to a positive work environment
Experience with wrapping, sign production, graphic production, or similar is advantageous, but we place great emphasis on your personality, willingness to learn, and practical interest.
Application Process
In this recruitment process, PPV collaborates with Skill. Selection is ongoing, which means the position may be filled before the application deadline. Therefore, please submit your application as soon as possible. The planned start date for the position is week 33-34.
